The Council of Community Services in now on Facebook!

 

The West End Center will celebrate the 30th anniversary on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00am -12;00noon. Mayor Bowers, Onzlee Ware,Center Alumni and Parents and Divine Dance Center will recognize the Centers Contributions to our community. In addition to this good news, Mayor Bower has graciously offered to make a proclamation at the celebration event.

The Executive Director, Kaye Hale, Board members and youth are visiting key organizations around town that have supported the Center over the course of its 30 year run. These efforts raise the childrens awareness of the importance of community philanthropy and volunteerism andthank the generous donors who have help the Center impact the lives of inner city youth.  Each organization receives a Thank you card made by the Center's youth and a bunch of balloons with the Centers 30 Anniversary Logo. See the pictures and descriptions of groups visited so far. The children have been well received and donor organizations are grateful for the heart warming thank you!
