Nonprofit Resource Center of Western Virginia

 

                         

The Council of Community Services and Radford University have partnered together to provide a training program for nonprofit organizations. 

The goal of the program is:

  • To provide an affordable, high quality training program.
  • Utilize training programs to create better managed nonprofits serving the communities in the Roanoke areas in partnership with the Council of Community Services’ Nonprofit Resource Center.
  • Upon completing 80 contact hours (approximately 20 classes) participants will receive a Nonprofit Development Leadership and Management Certificate issued jointly by Radford University and Council of Community Services’ Nonprofit Resource Center.

FEES:

FREE for those participating in the trainings provided through the Strengthening Communities Grant (SCF)

Classes are free for Nonprofits who serve City of Roanoke residents.

  • Anyone working or volunteering with a nonprofit organization who serves City of Roanoke residents, including all paid, volunteer and board members accepted.
  • Nonprofit’s executive director/president and Board chair must sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), print, and mail or fax to:

  For those who do not meet the requirements above, the cost for each class is $25.00 if a member of the Nonprofit Resource Center of Western Virginia. 

   For Non-members of the NRC the cost is $35.00 per class
