This standing committee of CCS provides a forum for regional housing interests and promotes comprehensive initiatives and strategies that identify housing solutions. By bringing together organizations and groups with complementary interests, our goal is to promote discussion and facilitate action on housing issues in our community.
The Roanoke Regional Housing Network strives to:
• Provide educational services, including symposiums and seminars, on housing issues
• Provide a regional think-tank on housing issues challenging our communities
• Stay current on federal, state, and local laws affecting housing in our communities
• Develop a public policy platform and related program initiatives around housing issues
• Develop a regional housing sustainability plan
