Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council

The Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council (RVVPC) is an interagency coalition of human services professionals working to increase available resources for family violence, sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. By engaging professionals in a collaborative, comprehensive response to these and other issues, we hope to raise awareness and empower our community.

Goals:

  • Improve the knowledge base and collaboration of local professionals through education and training on trafficking and violence issues
  • Increase awareness and prevalence of issues and available resources
  • Strengthen our coalition by incorporating a more diverse network of professionals
