Housing in Roanoke by the numbers:

  • $400K paid towards rent and utilities assistance, preventing homelessness and housing those experiencing homelessness.
  • 70% of housing support services clients achieved successful housing outcomes, securing hope and stability.
  • 111 individuals at risk of losing housing received critical housing support services, enabling their families to maintain their homes and stabilize their living situations.
  • 89 individuals were successfully housed, ensuring they have a safe and stable place to call home.

Blue Ridge Continuum of Care

Led by the Blue Ridge Interagency Council on Homelessness (BRICH), the Blue Ridge Continuum of Care is the region’s local planning group working to coordinate and implement a system-wide response to housing loss within the Roanoke region.
